La Liga de Las Americas

To the Editor:

Thank you for supporting the 2005 Hispanic Business Expo.  It was extremely successful, becoming the largest (per capita) Hispanic business event in the Midwest.  La Prensa’s support and confidence helped make this a reality.

II wanted to take a moment and ask that you join me in welcoming our 2006 Hispanic Business Expo Presenting Investors:  Comcast Cable, Comerica Bank, and Meijer.  These three corporations have stepped up and become the Marquee Investors for the 2006 Hispanic Business Expo.

.1.
There are other corporations that have also confirmed their participation/investment for 2006, they are:  General Motors (Luncheon), GMAC (Evening Reception), National City Bank (VIP Evening Reception & Workshops), and Hennessey Capital (Platinum).

Most have increased their level of participation; in a few cases, the increase has been dramatic.  I am encouraged by this particularly since the 2006 Expo is scheduled for Sept. 6 and 7, 2006.

Thanks again for your support and assistance in making these Expos a huge success.

Enrique Carrillo, Vice President
Public Affairs, Comerica Bank
2005 & 2006 Expo Chair, HBA
Detroit, Michigan

Editor’s Note: The 2005 HBA Expo was the Latino business highlight of the year.

A copy of the Expo Report to Investors, prepared by Chair Enrique Carrillo, can be viewed on line as a pdf here. Gracias, Enrique for a job well done!
