It’s a festival that celebrates worldwide diversity. This year,
nine Latinas said they were proud to represent the Latino
community as Queen and Princesses of the 42nd Annual
Lorain International Festival and Bazaar. Another Latina has
been involved with the festival for over a decade.

luncheon presented 45 scholarships to 39 brilliant Latino
students from Cuyahoga and Lorain County on June 27, 2008.

for May ranged from a low of 6 percent in Ann Arbor to a high of
11.1 percent in Flint. The state's major labor market areas,
their seasonally unadjusted jobless rates for May and the change

Cuyahoga County Board of Elections invites
the Public to Voter Education Events
Cleveland: Extremely high voter turnout is expected for
the November 4, 2008 Presidential Election. The Cuyahoga County
Board of Elections (CCBOE) wants all voters to be prepared to
vote. The CCBOE is inviting the public to attend voter education
presentations being held throughout the county. The Board of
Elections staff is offering voter registration information,
Vote-by-Mail/Absentee ballot applications, Election Day Poll
Worker applications, and general information about the services
provided by the CCBOE.
