The Latins United social hall, 706 South St. Clair St., Toledo, will be the scene just a few days later of another Thanksgiving tradition—the annual Ohio State-Michigan Football viewing party on Saturday, Nov. 30 at noon. As Noche de Velitas celebrates the Immaculate Conception of Mary, a dinner and dance at SQACC, 1225 Broadway, Toledo, that evening also will open the Christmas season.

Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 at the door. The Dec. 7 evening event will feature a Colombian Christmas dinner and entertainment from Sammy DeLeón y Su Orchesta [Salsa]. There also will be a DJ and a cash bar. ¿Preguntas! (419) 241-1655.
