LCCC to host Health and Wellness Expo:
Lorain County Community College
will host a Health and Wellness Expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.,
Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in the Spitzer Conference Center and
Norton Culinary Arts Center.
The event will include free health screenings, samples, give-aways
and more. The expo is free and open to the public.
LCCC’s BOOM Radio to host Halloween BOOM-tacular:
Lorain County Community College’s BOOM Radio will host
the annual Halloween BOOM-tacular event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.,
Wednesday, October 30 in College Center Commons. The campus
community and members of the public are invited to come and
enjoy games, music, dancing and trick-or-treating. LCCC clubs,
services and local organizations will have tables to share
information. The event will include lots of candy and a plastic
pumpkin decorating contest. Attendees are encouraged to come in
Get the Six Sigma Advantage in Training at Lorain County
Learn how to streamline processes and ensure quality results
while reducing costs in the next session of Six Sigma training
at Lorain County Community College.
“In a world that demands speed and quality from business and
industry, the implementation of Six Sigma principles can help

Terri Burgess Sandu, LCCC director of Workforce and Business
Companies that apply Six Sigma have proven return for their
investments, she noted.
The next Six Sigma Green Belt training will be from 8 a.m. to 4
p.m. on January 13 and 14, February 10 and 11, March 16 and 17
and April 13 and 14.
In the Green Belt training participants work on teams to
create and implement improvement projects. The methodology takes
students through the five phases of Six Sigma. Project mentoring
is included in the cost of training, which is $3,500 per person
including book and Minitab.

a.m. to 4 p.m. on January 13-16, February 10-13, March 16-19 and
