Crosby Festival of the Arts, June 28-30
TOLEDO: Crosby Festival of the Arts, kicks off June 28
and run through June 30, 2019. The festival, held at Toledo
Botanical Garden, is presented by Toledo GROWs.
Crosby Festival of the Arts is a highly recognized fine arts
show featuring works by more than 200 artists from across the
country. Now celebrating its 54thyear, this festival
is heralded as Ohio’s oldest outdoor-juried art festival.
Support for the Crosby Festival of the Arts is provided by the
Ohio Arts Council. Proceeds from the show support Toledo
GROWs and their work in the areas of education, community
gardening, and urban agriculture.
New this year: Friday evening
hours give guests an extra day to enjoy the festival. Be the
first to view and purchase the artwork Friday, June 28, from 6
until 9 p.m. Saturday festival hours are 10-5, and Sunday 10-
Local food trucks will offer a variety of food all three days.
Both soft drinks and adult beverages will be available as well.
Friday evening features music by Quick Trio with
Michelle Shelton. Saturday features children’s activities
and musical groups Ben Maloney and Moths in the Attic.
Children’s activities continue Sunday, with Tim Ohlers
and Chloe and the Steel Strings providing music.
Food vendors featured throughout
the weekend include: Beastro Burger, Deets BBQ, Different
Twist Pretzel, Eric’s Ice Cream, Jeanie’s Comfort Cuisine,
Kettle Korn and Nuts, Mediterranean Cuisine, Mom and Pop Kettle
Corn, Nick and Nino’s, Opa! Cuisine, Roe Concessions, Rusty’s
Road Trip, Rosie’s Rolling Chef, and Snowie Summers.
Free parking and shuttle to the festival are available at the
Meijer store on Central Avenue. Handicapped parking is available
on the festival grounds, at the Elmer Drive main entrance.
Tickets for the Crosby Festival
of the Arts are $10 at the door but can be purchased online for
a discounted $9. Children 12 and under are free. Metroparks
members receive two admissions at half off at the door, with
