Yoga
for Everyone - On the Roof!
Yoga loosely means “union” in Sanskrit, the language of ancient
India.
According to the Toledo-Lucas Public Library, ‘what better place
to practice yoga and become harmonious with mind, body, and
spirit than atop the Civic Plaza (rooftop) at Main Library, 325
Michigan Street in downtown Toledo.’
The Civic Plaza, which can be accessed from the second floor,
features walkways and benches and is a spacious park-like
setting. The outdoor area is approximately 240 feet by 400 feet
and includes one-half acre of grass. “What a perfect place to
relax and enjoy the skyline downtown view!” In case of inclement
weather, the class will be held in the Huntington Meeting Room.
