The City of Toledo is
seeking comments on a proposed Neighborhood Stabilization
Program 2 (NSP2) under the American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act of 2009.
The Neighborhood Stabilization Program plan includes a
description of available funds from the Department of Housing
and Urban Development (HUD) and the eligible uses for the NSP2
grant. It contains a description of the activities to be
undertaken and the expected results of those activities. The
purpose of this program is to stabilize communities that have
been affected by foreclosures and abandonment through the
purchase and redevelopment of foreclosed and abandoned homes and
residential
properties.
The draft will be available for review and comments beginning
Friday, July 3, 2009 on the City of Toledo website:

is seeking a high-energy, entrepreneurial, and dedicated
professional for the position of Senior Accountant I. This
position supervises designated junior level Authority accounting
personnel; oversees accounting and reconciliation activities and
monthly financial reporting for designated programs and
accounts; takes leadership role in development and refinement of
ongoing accounting computerized systems and processes.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. Master’s
Degree, CPA and audit experience preferred. Minimum of five (5)
years experience with general ledgers, account
analysis/reconciliations, budgets and financial reporting.
Fund, real estate management/development, or non-profit
accounting experience preferred. Minimum of two (2) years
experience with complex general ledger systems in large
organizations. Minimum of two (2) years supervisory
experience. Annual salary $52,000 - $56,000. We do background

High School Class of 1984 hosts 25th reunion cookout: The
Woodward High School Class of 1984s 25th reunion is scheduled
for Saturday, August 22, 2009, from 6 to 10 pm, at Bay View

normally 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Sunday, May 31 at its
Sylvania, Oregon and Heatherdowns branch locations, and at Main
Library. Sunday hours will resume at these four locations
on Sunday, September 13, 2009.
Sunday hours at the Sanger Branch Library, 3030 W. Central
Avenue, will continue year-round.
