SENIOR MEDIATOR

Toledo Municipal Court

 

The Court is accepting applications for the position of Senior Mediator.  This position supervises the daily operations of the Citizens Dispute Settlement Program, including managing staff, volunteers and interns, overseeing department programs, policies and procedures, and performing public relations duties.  The position is also responsible for screening and mediating criminal and civil cases referred by the Court, and working with attorneys and pro se parties to reach mutually satisfying case resolution.  The successful candidate must have a strengths-based management style and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively to obtain resolutions based upon a consensus among parties.  Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.  Juris Doctorate of Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred.  Forty (40) hours mediation training preferred.  Individuals without mediation training will be required to complete such training upon appointment to the position.  Five (5) years experience in direct client contact in a legal, counseling or mediation role, required.  Two (2) years supervisory or management experience, dispute resolution or mediation experience preferred.  Potential candidates must pass a background check.  Starting salary is $58,215.46 annually.  Full salary is $64,683.84.

Program Officer

 

The Mental Health, Addiction and Recovery Services Board of Lorain County seeks to hire a full-time Program Officer. Under the supervision of and in collaboration with the Children’s Behavioral Health Services Director, assesses capacity and quality of mental health and substance use disorder services for children, youth and families of Lorain County.  Manages critical clinical services when Board involvement is necessary. Expands and improves needs assessment activities and analysis.  Assists in writing of community plans and grants. As a member of the Community Services Team, is integral to the development, coordination, monitoring and analyzing Board funded and collaborative services in the continuum of care. Ensures adherence of policy, procedures, standards and budgets by conducting reviews of agency programs. Is the staff lead regarding trainings and workshops for network providers.

 

An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills and abilities. An example of acceptable qualifications is:  completion of at least a Master’s Degree in an appropriate discipline, such as social work, counseling, or psychology. Hold an independence license to practice in the state of Ohio, such as LPCC or LISW with supervisory designation or licensed Psychologist. At least five years of direct clinical service experience in provision of professional, clinical behavioral health services.  At least two years administrative experience with clinical supervision of behavioral health clinicians. Successful experience with program planning and implementation, research experience, grant and proposal writing, and successful stakeholder/partner relationships.

All Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting on November 11, 2021, at 10:00 AM at the Project site, 4250 Richmond Road, Highland Hills, Ohio 44122.  Address is for the overall campus.  Meeting will take place at the existing track on the northeast side of the campus.  This is just south of the Harvard / Richmond Road intersection.

 SEALED PROPOSALS for bidding on Metroparks Toledo Miscellaneous Trail Paving, Lucas County Ohio will be received; opened; and read aloud at the Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area, Fallen Timbers Field Office, 6101 Fallen Timbers Lane, Maumee, Ohio 43537 Friday, November 12, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. local time.

EACH BIDDER MUST FURNISH either (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid or (2) a certified check, cashier’s check or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid with its bid.  The successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond and a 100 percent (100%) Labor and Materials Bond.

No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
